Paper Lanterns songwriter, Derek Morris is the brother of Gerry Morris, songwriter & guitarist with Billy J Kramer and the New Dakotas. Gerry’s untimely suicide moved Derek to write the haunting song “My Hero, My Brother.” Encouraged by the reaction from this song Derek continued to write songs inspired by his life, and the lives of family and friends.
